Exploring the Ino
Ino

Coral reefs surround the islands. At low tide, the Ino appears on the landward side of the reef. Many creatures make their homes here and it is a great opportunity to study the ecology of a coral reef. You'll see colorful tropical fish left in the tidal pools by the receding sea, sea cucumbers and starfish. You'll also discover creatures hiding under rocks and crabs walking around. It's like a natural aquarium.

There are potentially harmful creatures in the sea, so listen carefully to the guide's explanations and don't touch anything you aren't sure of. These tours last from two hours to two-and-a-half hours, but schedules depend on the tides so please be sure to check the times before signing up.
