October 17-18, 2009 The biggest festival, featuring Gushikawa's own culture and performing arts.

Held every October, this festival is organized by the citizens of Uruma. The 2-day festival features events like costume parades, Ms.Uruma beauty pageant, fireworks, and showings of local performing arts, among others. Especially worth seeing is the bullfighting tournament at Ishikawa Multipurpose Dome, as Uruma is well known for its bullfighting, and the Banquet of the Dragon God, where lion-dances are performed.
