The Okinawa Convention & Visitors Bureau (OCVB) is involved in improving the image of tourism and resorts, arousing and promoting demand for travel, supporting MICE events, and transmitting tourism information as well as managing offices in foreign countries and other areas outside the prefecture in order to achieve the "creation of a high quality year-round tourist and resort area”.

(6)Educate people and professionals about tourism and conventions
(7)Raise awareness of tourism and conventions, tour local areas and support beautification of tourist areas
(8)Construct and operate tourism and convention facilities
(9)Encourage domestic tourism and conventions
(10)Develop and conserve Okinawa’s coasts and waters
(11)Accept and execute consigned duties from Okinawa prefecture and municipalities
(12)Collaborate with tourism and convention-related groups
(13)Perform any other activities needed to fulfill the duties of the OCVB
